Applications are invited for the selection of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) to work in the following project under the supervision of Dr. M. Senthilvelan, CSIR Emeritus Scientist, Department of Nonlinear Dynamics, School of Physics, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli – 620024, for a temporary period, purely on a contractual basis, as per the following details.

Project Title : Tailoring non-Hermitian topological insulators for applications and the search of topological states through machine learning

Department : Nonlinear Dynamics, School of Physics
Project Tenure : 3 years
Age Limit : SRF – 32 years
Fellowship : Rs. 42,000/- p.m. plus HRA as per University norms
Essential Qualification
(i) M.Sc., B.E., B.Tech., B.V.Sc., B.Pharm., or equivalent degree and at least two years of post-M.Sc., B.E., B.Tech., B.V.Sc., B.Pharm. research experience, as evidenced from published papers in standard refereed journals;
OR
(ii) M.E., M.Tech., or equivalent degree in Engineering/Technology;
OR
(iii) MBBS or BDS, with 1 year internship / M.V.Sc. / M.Pharm. or equivalent.
Desirable Qualification : Two years of research experience in Theoretical Physics with sound computational skills.
Age Relaxation : The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes / OBC, women and physically handicapped candidates.
