Air IndiaAir India had the honour of being the first airline to start commercial operations from the recently opened Kazi Nazrul Islam Airport at Durgapur with a flight connecting Kolkata to Durgapur and back. The inaugural flight was operated by Alliance Air a wholly owned subsidiary of Air India.

AIR INDIA LIMITED wishes to engage Indian Nationals, who meet with the requirements specified herein for the post of Pharmacists on Fixed Term Contract basis, for period of three years at Mumbai. The Contract initially will be for period of three years, which would be extendable subject to satisfactory performance and Company requirement.

Eligibility Criteria (as on 01st April, 2018)
(i) Qualification :
a) Diploma in Pharmacy from an institution recognized by the Govt.
b) Must be registered with the State Pharmacy Council.
(ii) Experience : Candidates with minimum one year or more experience as Pharmacist will be given preference.

Age Limit : (as on 01st April, 2018)
Candidate should not be more than 35 years of age as on April 01, 2018.
(Relaxation of age of 5 years in respect of ST candidates as per rules).

Emoluments & Perks :
Contract Pharmacists will be paid Rs.28,000/-per month The post also carries other benefits such as Leave, Medical and Air Passages, as applicable
.

Responsibilities & Duties:
i) Dispense the medicine as per prescription
ii) Prepare medical prescription for medicine not in stock
iii) Unkeep and manage the medical store along with proper data and records
iv) Help the paramedical staff in performing duties
v) Help in other administrative activities as and when required
vi) Help the permanent paramedical staff in preparation of First Aid

Selection Procedure :
Candidates who fulfill the above eligibility criteria will be required to appear for Personal Interview at the time and venue decided by Air India Ltd. After scrutiny of applications, candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria, will be intimated by e-mail to appear for Personal Interview, which will be held at Mumbai. Such selected candidates will have to undergo Pre-Employment Medical Examination, for which they will have to bear the cost, including cost of any additional tests, if required.

How to apply :
i. Candidates may send their typed and signed Applications in the prescribed Application Format available on below link along with a recent Passport size photograph, duly pasted and a Demand Draft of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only) (not applicable for SC / ST and Ex-Servicemen candidates) in favour of “Air India Limited”, payable at Mumbai, so as to reach the following address, on or before 27TH APRIL, 2018.

ii. Candidates will also be required to attach photocopies of self-attested testimonials along with the Application, in support of their:
1. Date of Birth
2. Educational Qualification
3. Experience
4. State Pharmacy Council Registration
5. One set of photocopies of relevant Certificates, wherever applicable 6. Applicable for ST candidates only : Caste Certificate in the prescribed Proforma issued by the Appropriate Authority. (Format for SC/ST Certificate attached).

iii. The envelope must be superscribed “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF “CONTRACT PHARMACIST, Mumbai”.
iv. Applications received late / incomplete / unsigned / mutilated or without any of the supporting documents with regard to Eligibility Criteria, Demand Draft (if applicable), will be rejected. Air India will not be responsible for any postal delay / loss of any documents during transit.

GENERAL:
i. Reservation in posts and relaxation for ST Candidates will be as per Government of India Rules.
ii. Applicants serving in Government / Semi-Government / Public Sector Undertakings should apply through proper channel. (NOC must be submitted alongwith the Application)
iii. The Management reserves the right to modify / change the conditions / requirement / number of posts, based on the actual need, at any point of time in future.
iv. The position is based at Mumbai. Company does not provide any accommodation and transportation. Selected Candidates will have to arrange their accommodation / transportation, at their own cost.
v. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidate.
vi. At any stage of the Selection Process, in case it is detected that the particulars provided by the candidate in the Application Form or testimonials supplied, are found to be incorrect / false or the candidate does not meet with any of the Eligibility Criteria prescribed for the post, or has suppressed any material fact(s), his / her application shall be treated as NOT ELIGIBLE and his / her candidature will stand rejected, without giving any reasons thereof. vii. During the course or after completion or during the extended term(s) of Fixed-term contractual engagement, the candidate will not claim for permanent absorption in the Company.
