Job Responsibilities:
Performs physical and chemical testing of Raw-materials
packaging Materials, WIP & Finished goods as per prescribed
test methods in line in accordance with standard procedures.
• Participates in failure investigations to collect the necessary samples when appropriate. An analyst working in a plant should acquire basic knowledge of plant floor operations and equipment
• Collects and analyzes data to draw conclusions and recommend forward actions
• Applies appropriate methodologies and data interpretation techniques to assist in overcoming technical difficulties and promote continuous improvement.
• Maintains the laboratory quality assurance systems to assure validity of data.
• Performs or assists vendor in the installation qualification (IQ), operational qualification (OQ) and performance qualification (PQ) of laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Maintains accurate, up to date and concise laboratory notebooks and records.
• Maintains Laboratory in good condition and participates in daily housekeeping
• Uses laboratory safety equipment and understand precautions in handling reagents and disposal of chemical waste according with local environmental regulations.
• Participates in maintenance program (AM,PM & Breakdown /Trouble Shooting) of lab equipments.
• Monitors the inventory of lab supplies (Chemicals, Glassware & general supplies).
• Supports execution of /Process/Procedure/People Changes, Kaizens, CAPAs & closure of Tags.
• Fosters participation of fellow technicians & implements improvement action
• Undertakes plant rounds & Identifies the areas of improvement on GMP, Micro Control Program.
• Undertakes self assessment & identifies the areas of improvement in GLP, Lab Safety, 5S & Sustainability pertaining to work area.
• Assists vendors in IQ/OQ/PQ of lab equipments.
• Communicates clearly, concisely and effectively through written and oral means.
• Understands and adheres to EOHS requirements i.e. SOPs
(PPE's. LOTO, Work Permit, MSB) and job safety analysis.

Candidate Profile:
Candidate must possess at least a Master of Science in Chemistry or equivalent.
Required skill(s): Knowledge of multiple intruments.
At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Chemistry or equivalent. Job role in Others or equivalent.
