The Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani Hyderabad Campus is one of the five constituent campuses of the BITS Pilani university located in Hyderabad, India. BITS opened its campus in Hyderabad upon invitation by the Government of Andhra Pradesh in 2008 with the first batch of campus graduating in 2012.

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on the following project sponsored by ANRF, ARG having grant No. ANRF/ARG/2025/006328/LS, under the supervision of Prof Onkar Prakash Kulkarni, Department of Pharmacy, BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus.
Title of the project : Preclinical validation of DPP-1 as a therapeutic target using novel inhibitors for the treatment of chronic kidney disease and associated neurocognitive impairment
Duration of the project : 3 years
Fellowship amount : Rs. 37000/month
Eligibility requirements : First-class in M.Pharm (Pharmacology) with valid GPAT qualified candidates preferred. Candidates with good knowledge in in-vivo and in-vitro pharmacology, neuroscience, neuropharmacology, molecular biology will be preferred.
Age limit : 27 years
