B.Pharmacy degree and Master degree [M.Pharm/M.S. (Pharm] with minimum of 60% marks [55% for SC/ST/OBC (NCL/PWD] from a recognized Indian or Foreign University.

Master/Integrated Masters in Natural or Agricultural or Pharmaceutical Sciences/MVSc/Animal Sciences OR Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University

Bachelor (B.Pharm) and Master (M.Pharm) Degree in Pharmacy each with First Class or equivalence in appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy recognized by Pharmacy Council of India

M. Tech/ M. Sc/ B. Tech degree in Biotechnology or any area of Life Sciences with 3 years relevant experience OR Graduate/Post Graduate degree in any discipline

First class M.Sc. (60% or equivalent grade) in any branch of science (e.g., Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, etc.) or M.Tech. or MBBS or M.V.Sc. or M.Pharm. or 4-year /8 Semester B.Sc (Honours with Research) with 75% marks or 7.5 CGPA or equivalent qualification recognized by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi is required.

Masters degree/ 4-year Bachelors degree from a recognised institution in any area of science and technology or M. VSc. Or a Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery or an equivalent degree with at least 60% marks 

Candidates having Ph. D. degree in Botany / Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Molecular Biology or a related field or having M. Tech. in Biotechnology / Bioinformatic with three years of research experience and at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed

First-class postgraduate degree including the integrated PG degree or (2) Second-class postgraduate degree, including the integrated PG degree with Ph.D. in the area of Biotechnology/ Microbiology/Biochemistry/Molecular Biology from reputed University/Institute.

M.Sc. Chemistry / analytical chemistry / inorganic chemistry/organic chemistry / polymer science / biopolymer science for those candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC/ICAR/ICMR NET incl. CSMCRI
