JMCOP was granted University status by UP government vide JMCOP. It has been the pioneer in bringing technical and professional education to the city of Moradabad in 1996. From a humble beginning in 1996, it has expanded into a huge ~51.74 acres campus offering courses in various disciplines. It is located at Dhanaura Road Village Bavanpur. JMCOP has blossomed into a multi-disciplinary centre of learning that offers quality education in more than 50 programs of Diploma, Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral level in engineering, business management, pharmacy, biotechnology, microbiology, arts, sciences, law, education, journalism and mass communication, social science, computer application. Programs in Agricultural Science and Technology (Agronomy & Horticulture) have added new dimensions to the programmes offered. The Directorate of Forensic Science Services (DFSS) is a nodal organization of Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India to propagate and carry out best forensic science practices in the country to serve the cause of criminal justice delivery system. DFSS has been established in the year 2002 on bifurcation from the BPR&D, New Delhi. Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) formerly known as Central Forensic Institute) was established in the year 2011 along with CFSL Pune and CFSL Guwahati, under the DFSS, MHA, Government of India. With the motto of "to provide high quality, on time and credible forensic services" the CFSL Bhopal has the aim to propagate and carry out best forensic science practices in the country especially in the North Eastern region to serve the cause of criminal justice delivery system.
