Ayurveda Regional Research Institute, Mandi, initially started as survey unit of CCRAS at Joginder Nagar (H.P.) in July, 1970 was upgraded as Regional Research Centre (Ay.) in 1972. In 1983, it was transferred from Joginder Nagar to District Headquarter Mandi and in 1999, it was again upgraded as Regional Research Institute (Ay.) Mandi.
