The Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) is an institution of national importance and a statutory body established by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. It functions as a UNESCO Category II Centre with regional and global partnerships. RCB’s primary mandate is to provide world-class education and training, and to conduct innovative, interdisciplinary research in biotechnology to develop high-quality human resources in a globally competitive research environment.
Post : Project-Junior Research Fellow
Title of Project : Diet4Life: Innovative diet solution for Phenylketonuria disease.
Duration : Initially for 1 year, may be extended on evaluation.
Essential Qualifications : M.Sc. or any other equivalent course in Biotechnology with at least 60% marks. NET or any national-level JRF eligibility test qualified.
Desirable : Experience in downstream extraction is highly desirable. Skills in molecular biology tools, protein expression and engineering are also requisite. Candidate should be hardworking and team player with interpersonal skills.
