It  was  established in  1922 as a unitary, teaching and residential  university by an Act of the then Central Legislative  Assembly.   The President of India is the Visitor,  the Vice  President is  the Chancellor  and  the  Chief Justice  of the Supreme Court of India is the Pro-Chancellor of the University.

Post: Project Fellow

Applications are invited for position of one Project Fellow under UGC sponsored major research project [No.39-780/2010(SR)] entitled, "Study on intermolecular interactions in industrially important multi-component solvent systems by using physicochemical and acoustic methods".

Principal Investigator: Dr. Anil Kumar Nain

Duration of the Project: 03 Years

Post: Project Fellow - one

Eligibility: Master's degree in Chemistry (preferably Physical Chemistry) with at least 55% marks. NET/GATE qualified candidates shall be preferred.

Desirable: Working knowledge of computer applications

Fellowship: Rs.8,000/- + HRA (will be paid as per UGC guidelines)
