Job Description:
• Water Sampling & testing – Chemical & Micro
• Environmental monitoring
• Media Preparation & Growth Promotion Test.
• MLT as per IP/USP/BP.
• Analysis of samples as per the specification of products.
• Maintenance & preservation of various cultures.
• Prepared the required culture stocks from the master cultures.
• Responsible for screening & isolation of various organisms.
• Culture identification tests for both i.e. for fungal as well as bacterial cultures.
• Maintaining the purity and productivity of all cultures.
• Maintaining of Cell banking of all culture
• Having the knowledge for the operation of Autoclave by manually and auto (PLC based)
• Operation and maintenance of microscope
• Operation and maintenance of Incubators & LF
• Preparation & Maintenance of GMP documents such as department of SOP, LIR (Laboratory Investigations), change control & Deviation
• Preparation of monthly & daily departmental reports.
• Preparation of qualification records for Microbiology Department
• Calibration of all required/related microbiology instruments
• Autoclave validation.
• Area qualification of microbiology area.
• Environment monitoring by settle plate, swab test, contact plate, personal monitoring.
• Validation of air handling unit.(i.e. of class 10,000 and class 1,00,000)
• Clean area validation. Supporting role in facility (area) qualification ; Air velocity, DOP test, air changes and particle count ( viable and non-viable)
• Laminar air flow validation.
• Temperature mapping of autoclave & incubators
• Surface monitoring by contact plates and swab method on equipments and personnel

• FDA, ISO, WHO and Regulatory
3 Other activities

• Responsible for managing the media & culture for Microbiology laboratory - Maintaining the media & culture stock for microbiology lab as per the requirement and trying to reducing the inventory cost.
• Responsible for the following calibration and validation schedules microbiology instruments

Qualification: M.Sc. Microbiologist  with minimum 3 year experience
FDA approval in Microbiology Section
