Sophisticated Analytical Instrument Facility (SAIF), formerly known as Regional Sophisticated Instrumentation Centre-RSIC, at CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow has been providing excellent analytical service for the last 40 years and is one of the first four such facilities set up by the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India in mid seventies. The concept of the SAIF at Central Drug Research Institute evolved around the regional needs of scientists and research personnel engaged in the research area of chemical and biological sciences. The sophisticated instruments at the centre have been updated from time to time, keeping pace with the advancement of science and technology and the requirements of the users.

Object and Scope of the Seminar
The interdisciplinary research enables a broad spectrum of scientific advancement but it has not gained as much ground in academia as one would have wished. The aim of the seminar is to sensitize and expose the students and faculty members to multidisciplinary approach to research with emphasis on the use of Mass and NMR techniques applications for small molecules. The theme of seminar is to create awareness among students and faculty members, the need of innovations in learning processes based on technology enabled courses, which have close linkage with industry requirements. It is anticipated that the results of such experiences will motivate students to pursue science as a career. The one day national seminar will sensitize and stimulate the young minds to bring out the best among the various frontiers of science and would generate awareness amongst the stakeholders about the innovative approaches in interdisciplinary sciences. This seminar will focus on different areas of sciences and also provide a common platform to deliberate and discuss the various emerging interdisciplinary areas.

Poster Specifications
Poster should limit to the size 100 cm x 75 cm. They can be fixed using PUSH-PINS which will be made available by the Organizers.
