Pharmacology

The Holy Grace Group was established in 1999 as a Registred Charitable and Educational Society formed with the intention of moulding next generation professionals with a global edge.  Holy Grace Academy of Pharmacy was started on 2019 with the intension of moulding competent pharmacy professionals for positive contribution in the growth and development of a healthy society.  The Holy Grace Academy of Pharmacy is approved by PCI and AICTE, and affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS).

The PGIMER owes its inception to the vision of late Sardar Partap Singh Kairon, the then Chief Minister of Punjab and the distinguished medical educationists of the then combined state of Punjab, supported by the first Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru who considered the institutions of scientific knowledge as temples of learning and the places of pilgrimage.

The Regional Medical Research Centre (ICMR), Bhubaneswar is a permanent research centre of Indian Council of Medical Research. The foundation stone of the centre was laid by the then prime minister of India Late Mrs. Indira Gandhi on 29th March 1981.Initially the Center started in a small rental accommodation in 1982 and shifted to the Centre’s own building in year 1990 after completion.

The NIOH is the premier institute, under the aegis of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) under the Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India. The need for research in Occupational Health in the country was first appreciated by Indian Research Fund Association (IRFA), the forerunner of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). IRFA set up an Industrial Health Advisory Committee (IHAC) under the chairmanship of Col. Bozman in 1945.

Jamia Millia Islamia, an institution originally established at Aligarh in United Provinces, India in 1920 became a Central University by an act of the Indian Parliament in 1988.

NIPER, Kolkata was established in 2007 under the aegis of Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers as a Centre of Excellence for higher education, research and development in pharmaceutical sciences. The Institute was declared as an Institute of National importance by Government of India through the Act of Parliament (NIPER Act 1998 & NIPER amendment Act 2007). We are proud of preparing dynamic leaders, who make a difference to the world, with the skills that are nurtured here for a better tomorrow.
