National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) was founded by Sir Robert McCarrison in the year 1918 as ‘Beri-Beri’ Enquiry Unit in a single room laboratory at the Pasteur Institute, Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. Within a short span of seven years, this unit blossomed into a "Deficiency Disease Enquiry" and later in 1928, emerged as full-fledged "Nutrition Research Laboratories" (NRL) with Dr. McCarrison as its first Director. It was shifted to Hyderabad in 1958.

The following vacancies shall be filled purely on t emporary basis under Non-Institutional ad- hoc project “ Research cum intervention Project on JE/AES” funded by Indian Council of Medical Research at NIV Gorakhpur Unit to be renewed annually and filled through Walk-in Interview as indicated below.

Madurai Kamaraj University, established in 1966, has 18 Schools comprising 73 Departments. The Directorate of Distance Education of the University has a student strength of about 1.30 lakhs. The University has 109 affiliated Colleges (9 Autonomous) including other approved institutions and 7 evening colleges. There are centres which promote research potential of teachers. Extension activities are carried out through Department of Youth Welfare, NSS, SC/ST cell and Adult Education programmes.

Applications are invited for the following post, to be filled up on purely temporary basis at National Institute of Pathology –ICMR, New Delhi under the task-force project entitled “Second Phase of Biomedical Informatics Centres of ICMR.” Under the task-force ICMR has established 20 Biomedical Informatics Centres of ICMR including one at NIP, New Delhi.

Applications are invited up to 19-07-2013 for one post of Scientist-C (Cytogenetics/ Molecular Genetics) at the Institute of Cytology & Preventive Oncology, Noida. in the Pay Band PB-3 of Rs.15600–39100 + Grade Pay Rs.6600/- and usual allowances as admissible as per Government norms.
