IIT Ropar community has undertaken an important exercise of developing the Mission, Vision and Strategic Plan for the coming years. The exercise was carried out in active consultation with Indian Institute of Management Calcutta who have got technical expertise in this area. A participative bottom up approach was followed in formulating the Mission, Vision and Strategic Plan. Inputs from the entire IIT Ropar fraternity, MHRD, Board of Governors, Alumni and Industries were considered in the process.

Telangana Life Sciences Foundation (TLSF) was established with the objective of development of infrastructure and visibility for life sciences, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and med-tech industries in the state of Telangana and with a view to assist the socio-economic development of the state. A government of Telangana initiative, TLSF works actively with International MNCs, Government bodies, Academic Institutes, etc., to promote the state of Telangana globally and grow the Life sciences ecosystem of the state.

National Dope Testing Laboratory (NDTL), New Delhi is an ISO/IEC 17025 & World Anti-Doping Agency accredited laboratory. It caters to the field of drug testing and analysis for human samples with its state of art facility including GC/MS, GC- MS/MS, LC-MS/MS, HPLC, GC/C/IRMS, ELISA, protein separation and identification tools towards the goal of making sports free from doping.

The Laboratory was established in 1941 as a research and production centre, known as Drug Research Laboratory of J&K State and was later taken over by Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) of Govt. of India in December 1957 as Regional Research Laboratory, Jammu. In view of its core strength in natural products based drug discovery, the mandate of Institute was redefined in 2005 and its name changed to Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM).

The National Institute of Nutrition is an Indian public health, nutrition and translational research centre located in Hyderabad, India.
