Jaipur National University, Jaipur, a Private self- financed University, sponsored by Mahima Shiksha Samiti, came into existence on October 22, 2007, through an Ordinance of the Government of Rajasthan. The University is one of the many institutions of the Seedling Group of educational institutions of the Mahima Shiksha Samiti.

Invites Applications For The Post of Professors, Associate Professors & Assistant Professors

In 2014, a Core Committee was constituted under the Chairmanship of Dr. VM Katoch by the Indian Health Ministry to revise National List of Essential Medicines (NLEM), 2011. In the process of revision of NLEM, several consultations were held across the country with experts from different domains.

The Annamalai University is a unitary, teaching, and residential university. It was founded by the munificence of the farsighted and noble hearted philanthropist and patron of letters the late Hon’ble Dr. Rajah Sir Annamalai Chettiar of Chettinad, Kt, LL.D., D.Litt. He started several colleges, and ultimately, the University in 1929. Since its inception, it has progressively tried to realize the aims of the noble Founder Pro-Chancellor. After him, his illustrious son, Padma Bhushan Dr. Rajah Sir Muthiah Chettiar of Chettinad, was the Pro-Chancellor from 1948 to 1984, and he sedulously nurtured the growth and development of the University. The University has had the unique good fortune of having a succession of eminent Vice-Chancellors to guide its destinies. During the last eighty two years the University has grown rapidly and has consolidated its position as a unitary and residential University with forty-nine Departments of Study and over 3240 members on its teaching staff.

Applications are invited for the following posts for the project titled “Impact of Pregnancy on Tuberculosis” funded by U.S National Institutes of Health (NIH) by the Department of Preventive & Social Medicine, JIPMER, Puducherry.

Details of the posts are given in Annexure 1. Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview in the Dept. of Preventive and Social Medicine, IV Floor, Administrative Block, JIPMER, Puducherry at a date that will be communicated to the candidates. British Council, India in collaboration with Department of Science and technology (DST) and Department of Biotechnology (DBT), India are pleased to invite applications for funding to support short-term PhD placements between the UK and Indian institutions.
The programme will sponsor UK and Indian PhD scholars to spend a period of their study (2 to 4 months) in Indian and UK higher education institutions between April to December 2017. Malabar Cancer Centre, Thalassery (MCC) is an autonomous institution under Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Kerala, started with an aim to establish a comprehensive cancer centre, providing the much-required oncology care to the population of Northern region of Kerala and neighbouring parts of Karnataka and Tamilnadu states. The main objective of the centre is not only to provide comprehensive cancer care but also to develop as a Research and Training Centre of international standards. A society named Malabar Cancer Centre Society was registered under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 with the above aims and clinical work in MCC started from March 2001 onwards. At present MCC has around 110 in-patient bed strength which is expected to be increased to 220 in near future.
