The International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid-Tropics (ICRISAT) is a non-profit, non-political organization that conducts agricultural research for development in Asia and sub-Saharan Africa with a wide array of partners throughout the world. Covering 6.5 million square kilometers of land in 55 countries, the semi-arid tropics has over 2 billion people, and 644 million of these are the poorest of the poor. ICRISAT and its partners help empower these poor people to overcome poverty, hunger and a degraded environment through better agriculture.

ABSTRACT: Biotechnology is a manipulation technology of living organisms and organic material to serve Human Needs. To make a better world some basic need (sufficient food, healthy life, eco-friendly/anti-polluted environment and employment) of the people should be fulfill. For that biotechnology can be used to struggle with these issues

National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) is the first national level institute in pharmaceutical sciences with a proclaimed objective of becoming a centre of excellence for advanced studies and research in pharmaceutical sciences. The Government of India has declared NIPER as an 'Institute of National Importance'. It is an autonomous body set up under the aegis of Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India. The Institute is conceived to provide leadership in pharmaceutical sciences and related areas not only within the country, but also to the countries in South East Asia, South Asia and Africa. NIPER is a member of Association of Indian Universities and Association of Commonwealth Universities.

Applications are invited for one position each of Laboratory Technician and Data Entry Operator under AIIMS and NIPER Collaborative project titled “New Biotherapeutic Approaches to the Treatment of Tuberculosis” funded by DoP, MC&F, New Delhi.

The CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology. Palampur (CSIR-IHBT) is one of the National Institute under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research which is an Autonomous Body. It is located on a 250 acres of land with the backdrop of snow-covered peaks of Dhauladhar Range in salubrious climate. The Institute is engaged in research and technology development programmes for sustainable managcmcnt of bioresources or the Himalayas. The Institute has successfully carried out mission-orientcd projects on tea. temperate floriculture and aromatic plants and is wcll equipped for Tissue culture and Biotechnology. Facilities include Tea Processing Unit.
