Established in 2018, The Somany College of Pharmacy is approved by AICTE and Pharmacy Council of India and affiliated by HSBTE. Somany College of Pharmacy is established under aegis of Swantantrata Senani R.D Somany. Somany Sansthan which has started this SCP a prestigious Institute with the objective of starting or rendering quality education in the field of Pharmacy also and thus produce, pharmacists useful to the society is a commitment under taken by the college.

Kalka Institute for Research and Advanced Studies (KIRAS) had introduced Pharmacy in the year 2005 and Kalka Pharmacy Institute for Advanced Studies i.e D.Pharm in the year 2018.  The institute is located in a peaceful & Pollution free environment, which has an attractive building comprising of administrative block, Lecture halls, laboratories, Library, Herbal  garden, animal house, central A.C. auditorium,  Lush green lawns & play grounds.

Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU), is the first Pharmacy University of India established by an Act7 of 2008 of State Legislature of Delhi as a State University vide Notification No.F. 2(412)/2008/SB/Vol. II/71 dated 21.01.2010 and is empowered to award degrees as specified by the UGC under section 22 of the UGC Act 1956 through its own departments and constituent colleges in regular mode vide notification No. F.9-19/2015/(CPP-I/PU) dated 22nd September 2015.

The college has been approved by The All India Council for Technical Education (A.I.C.T.E), and Pharmacy Council of India (P.C.I.), New Delhi and affiliated by the W.B.S.C.T.V.E.S.D., Kolkata.  The college has a good infrastructure in the heart of the town at pandaveswar and well connected by Rail, Road and Air. The college has sufficient class rooms, well equipped laboratories, library with sufficient volumes of books and fully equipped computer lab.
