Pharmaceutical Chemistry

Gauhati University Post Graduate Correspondence school started in May, 1998 with the objective of helping those who could not enroll as regular students. The PGCS aims at providing an opportunity to these students to obtain a Post Graduate degree of the Gauhati University through the mode of correspondence education. The degree from PGCS shall have the same standard and status as the regular Post Graduate degree as the syllabi for the two courses are the same.

The Central University of Rajasthan has been established by an Act of Parliament (Act No. 25 of 2009, The Gazette of India, No. 27, published on 20th March, 2009 as a new Central University, and is fully funded by the Government of India. The President of India, His Excellency Shri Pranab Mukherjee, is the Visitor of the Central University of Rajasthan.

BITS Pilani Goa Campus started functioning in August 2004 and was formally inaugurated by Hon'ble Prime Minster of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh on May 5, 2006.  The Campus is spread over an area os 180 acres and the location of the campus is unique with respect to the scenic beauty and panoramic view of picturesque surrounding with Zuari river, hillocks, waterways and forest. The Campus is about 25km south of Panjim, 10 km west of Vasco-da-Gama, and 22 km north of Madgaon. It is 5.5 km east of Goa Airport, along National Highway - 17B, bypass road.

Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM) is a national Institute of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) of India, with primary focus of research on drug discovery from natural products (medicinal plants and microbial species). IIIM is a multi-disciplinary organization encompassing the natural products chemistry, medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, microbiology, biotechnology and botanical sciences.

Ambe Durga Education society was established in the year 1997. The trust got registration certificate under Societies Registration Act, 1860 and Bombay Public Act, 1950 the registration number are MAH-663/1997 and F-14563 respectively. The vision of society is to provide the basic and higher education in Pharmacy profession to every person. To achieve these goals Ambe Durga Education Society started Dadasaheb Balpande College of Pharmacy, in the year 2006 offering a four year Degree course in Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) with the intake capacity of 60 seats. With the constant quest for excellence, the Dadashab Balpande College of Pharmacy (DBCOP) introduced a Post-Graduate Course in Pharmacy (M. Pharm.) in two specializations (Pharmaceutics and Quality Assurance) in 2012-13 and Diploma in Pharmacy in 2015-16.

The Birla Institute of Technology & Science, BITS Pilani is an all-India Institute for higher education. The primary motive of BITS is to "train young men and women able and eager to create and put into action such ideas, methods, techniques and information". The Institute is a dream come true of its founder late Mr G.D.Birla - an eminent industrialist, a participant in Indian freedom struggle and a close associate of the Father of Indian Nation late Mr. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (Mahatma Gandhi). CDRI is considered to be a pioneer research organization in the field of biomedical research where all the infrastructure and expertise are available to develop a drug right from its concept to market. The very latest techniques and methodologies are employed for developing drugs, diagnostics and vaccines to combat diseases prevalent among mankind in general and Indian population in particular. CDRI is a multidisciplinary research laboratory consisting of scientific personnel of various areas of biomedical sciences. For administrative and scientific purposes the Institute's manpower has been grouped into 17 R&D divisions and few divisions providing technical and scientific support.

Teerthanker Mahaveer University is a Jain Minority State Private University established by Act No. 30 of 2008 of the Government of Uttar Pradesh and has been approved by University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2(f) of UGC Act, 1956.
