Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB), is an Institution of national importance established by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India, with regional and global partnerships synergizing with the programmes of UNESCO. The primary focus of RCB is to provide world class education, training and conduct innovative research at the interface of multiple disciplines to create high quality human resource in disciplinary and interdisciplinary areas of biotechnology in a globally competitive research milieu.

Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) is an Institution of National Importance established, through an Act of Parliament, by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India under the auspices of UNESCO. The primary focus of RCB is to provide world-class education, training and conduct innovative research in multiple interdisciplinary areas of biotechnology.

National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute (NABI), Mohali is inviting applications from motivated students for admission to the PhD degree program in Biotechnology for the January 2024 session. NABI is recognized as a centre by the Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB), Faridabad, for conducting PhD (Biotechnology) programs. The program will be conducted at NABI, and the degree will be awarded by RCB (rcb.res.in), an institute of national importance established through an act of parliament.
