The following post of different categories will be filled up on contractual basis for Howrah Division, Eastern Railway for a period upto 30.06.2017 or availability of a regular selected candidate, whichever is earliest. For the purpose, a walk-in interview will be held on 23/05/2017 at 10 A.M. at the office of the Chief Medical Superintendent, Orthopedic Hospital, Eastern Railway, Howrah, West Bengal. The willing candidates having prescribed qualification and age, may attend along with their original testimonials and four pass port size photographs to the centre for walk-in-Interview on the scheduled date and time. IICB today is engaged in research on diseases of national importance and biological problems of global interest, employing sophisticated state-of-the-art technology in keeping with the rapid and unprecedented momentum that life science research has gained globally over the last 50 years.
IICB is one of the major institutes in India which initiated, right from its inception, multidisciplinary concerted efforts for conducting basic research on infectious diseases, specifically leishmaniasis and cholera, along with the development of technologies for the diagnosis, immunoprophylaxis, and chemotherapy of the diseases.

National Institute of Biomedical Genomics (NIBMG) Kalyani is an Institute of Government of India, Ministry of Science & Technology, Department of Biotechnology. The Institute has created necessary physical infrastructure and critical platform technologies to support research, translation and training in biomedical genomics.

NIBMG invites eligible candidates for a Walk-in-Interview for the position of Research Assistant in a WB-DBT funded project titled “Diabetic Foot Ulcer Microbiome: Its contribution in Biofilm formation and Wound Healing in Chronic Diabetic Foot Ulcers” on contractual basis initially for period of 1-year with possibility of extension depending on the performance and availability of funds.

The Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) is an Autonomous Body under Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India primarily with the objectives of regularly updating the Indian Pharmacopoeia by publishing new edition and its addenda, National Formulary of India and other related tasks such as preparing, certification and distribution of reference substances & functions as National Coordination Centre (NCC) for Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI).

The history of the IIT system dates back to 1946 when a committee was set up by Hon'ble Sir Jogendra Singh, Member of the Viceroy's Executive Council, Department of Education, Health and Agriculture to consider the setting up of Higher Technical Institutions for post war industrial development in India. The 22 member committee headed by Sri N.R.Sarkar, in its report, recommended the establishment of four Higher Technical Institutions in the Eastern, Western, Northern and Southern regions, possibly on the lines of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA, with a number of secondary institutions affiliated to it.
