CDFD, an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, invites applications from Indian nationals for the following purely temporary vacancies in research projects funded by National / International agencies at CDFD like DST/DBT/ICMR/CSIR etc. The description of the positions and minimum qualifications for various vacancies are as follows:

Assam University came into existence through Assam (Central) University Act, 1989 (Act. No. XIII). It was  established in 1994, since then the University is steadily becoming an excellent centre of learning. The campus, situated in Dargakona, about 20 kms from  Silchar, is set amid sprawling hillocks, a typical landscape in the  North East. The campus  in an area of  600 acres surrounded by lakes and mountains provides  an ideal environment for academic pursuit.

Eligible candidates are invited for walkin interview for the post of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position to work in SERB-DST funded project on contractual basis as per details given below:

Applications are invited for a JRF position in the Department of Biological Sciences at BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus, Goa for a DST sponsored project entitled “Lanthanide doped hydroxyapatite based nano-materials for theranostics applications: Sensing, Imaging, and Therapeutics”

The Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) is an autonomous Grant-in-aid Institution of the Department of Atomic Energy. The TMC is comprised of the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) and the Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH). The TMC conducts Ph.D. program in Life Sciences and Health Sciences and is affiliated to the Homi Bhabha National Institute (Deemed University). On-going research at TMC includes basic, Epidemiological  and translational work in Cancer.

Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB) invites applications for the following positions in its Joint Research Program with Srinivasa Ramanujan Institute for Basic Sciences (SRIBS), a new constituent institute of the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE), in Chemical Biology laboratory incubated at the RGCB-Bio Innovation Center at Kazhakuttom, Thiruvananthapuram until SRIBS permanent infrastructure gets ready at Pampady in Kottayam District of Kerala, under an agreement with RGCB.

Savitribai Phule Pune University, one of the premier universities in India, is positioned in the North-western part of Pune city. It occupies an area of about 411 acres. The Pharmacy department of BITS Pilani is one of the few early schools of Pharmacy in India. Established in 1950, under the able leadership of (Late) Prof. M. L. Schroff, Father of Pharmacy Education in India, it blossomed into one of the most sought after Schools of Pharmacy in India due to its broad-based education system and university-industry linkages, which is the hallmark of BITS, Pilani.

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Thiruvananthapuram (IISER-TVM) is dedicated to scientific research and science education of international standards. Traditionally, teaching has been segregated from research in undergraduate science curricula in our country. IISERs were established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, to bridge this dichotomy. IISER-TVM started functioning in August 2008. The institute aims to provide high quality education in modern science, integrating it with outstanding research at the undergraduate level itself, and develop a spirit of research cutting across disciplines. The faculty are engaged in research in the frontier areas of basic sciences, with a high degree of autonomy and creativity.
