National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) is the first national level institute in pharmaceutical sciences with a proclaimed objective of becoming a centre of excellence for advanced studies and research in pharmaceutical sciences. The Government of India has declared NIPER as an ‘Institute of National Importance’.

The Department of Pharmaceutical Technology of Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology was established in 2005. Pharmacy education in India has advanced to the global standards. Recent GATT agreement and patent rules have given a thrust to the research and development activities leading to search for newer and active drug molecules.

The IEC College of Engineering and Technology was started under the aegis of the Vocational Educational Foundation (VEF) in the year1999. Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University is Chhattisgarh's largest and oldest institution of higher education, founded in 1964, and named after the first chief minister of erstwhile Madhya Pradesh. The University has a sprawling campus in the western part of the capital of Chhattisgarh, Raipur. The campus of University is spread in 207 acres of land. To trace the history of Jadavpur University is to trace a part of India’s freedom movement, at least from the Swadeshi Movement onwards. It was 1905 -1906. Bengal stood divided. The times were feverish.

ADARSA COLLEGE OF PHARMACY is the first private pharmacy college in East Godavari District emerged in 2003 and in 2008 we started Under Graduate B.Pharma Courses and later in 2011 M.Pharmacy took its wings.
