The KMCH College of Pharmacy was established in the year 1995 under the auspices of Kovai Medical Center Research and Educational Trust, Coimbatore. The College is recognized by The Government of Tamil Nadu and affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai, approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and The All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Accredited by NBA [B.Pharm]. It is located at Kalapatti in a sprawling pollution free campus which is 3 KM away from Avinashi Road on national Highway and close to several prominent educational institutions. The College is housed in a campus with an imposing building and most conducive atmosphere for academic preference.

NKBR College of Pharmacy & Research Centre was established in 2005. The main aim is to provide the qualitative education in Pharmacy (D. Pharm, B. Pharm and M. Pharm). SVKM Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal (SVKM) , Mumbai is already a Brand Name in education scenario. It is a Public Charitable Trust & Society. It is in existence for over 80 years, born in 1934 with adoption of a school which started in 1921.

The history of Jamia Hamdard begins with the establishment of a small Unani clinic in the year 1906 by Hakeem Hafiz Abdul Majeed, one of the well-known practitioners of Unani System of Medicine of his time. Hakeem Hafiz Abdul Majeed had a vision of making the practice of Unani Medicine into a scientific discipline so that Unani medicines could be dispensed in a more efficacious manner to patients.

"We cannot compare straight away with US or Europe and say that these should be community Pharmacy and they are lagging behind. I would say that Yes! we have to improve our services and role as Pharmacist in the community pharmacy that is more important and for that knowledge is important.

St. John Institute of Pharmacy and Research (SJIPR) is a Degree Pharmacy College located in Palghar. SJIPR was inaugurated and blessed by Rt. Rev. Bishop Thomas Dabre - Bishop of Vasai Diocese on August 20, 2008.
