Himalayan Institute of Pharmacy & Research is affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University. The institute offers Bachelor of Pharmacy course. The mission is to contribute to the understanding of the development of civilization by fostering the creation, preservation, and dissemination of knowledge concerning the history and related humanistic aspects of the pharmaceutical field.

The Kurukshetra University was established in 1956 as a unitary residential University and its foundation stone was laid by late Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India. Located in the holy city of Kurukshetra, land of the historical battle of 'Mahabharata' and the great message of Bhagwad Gita, its campus is situated on the western bank of Brahm Sarover (the holy tank) and extends over an area of over 400 acres. Starting with only the Department of Sanskrit, it has grown into a multi-faculty University as one of the premier centres for advanced study and research in the region.

Raja Bahadur Venkat Rama Reddy was born on August 22, 1869, in a middle class family at Rayanpet in Wanaparthy. He lost his parents early in his childhood and was brought up by his uncle, William Wahab, who had a great influence on him. He had great passion for education which made him pursue further studies, in spite of opposition from his relatives. At the age of 18, Venkat Rama Reddy entered the police service of the erstwhile Hyderabad State and rose to the position of Police Commissioner of Hyderabad City, the first Hindu to do so. The Nizam of Hyderabad honored Sri Venkat Rama Reddy with the title of “Raja Bahadur” in recognition of his services to the state.

Assam University came into existence through Assam (Central) University Act, 1989 . It was  established in 1994,since then  the University is steadily becoming  an excellent centre of learning.  The campus, situated in Dargakona, about 20 kms from  Silchar, is set amid sprawling hillocks, a typical landscape in the  North East. NCOP has also secured AICTE-MODROB and AICTE-RPS schemes for 2013-14 academic session.

ShriRam College of pharmacy (SRCP) has been established by "Dayal Seva Evam Shiksha Samiti, Morena" in 2003, with the view to provide excellence in pharmacy education and to create an environment for blooming of pharmacy professionals. ShriRam College of Pharmacy is a part of the Shriram Group of Colleges comprising of Shriram College of Engineering and Management and SRIIT. The parent institute, established in 1998 and the  Pharmacy college is nurtured with care under the protective umbrella of the Dayal Seva Evam Shiksha Samiti.

Regional Plant Resource Centre was established in 1985 as a recreational garden and with an aim to provide a green lung for the inhabitants of Bhubaneswar – the capital city of Orissa. Gradually it became a dynamic and vibrant research organization of the State Government with a focus on the conservation of plant biodiversity. Over the year, it has made significant contributions in the field of ex situ and in situ conservation and assessment of genetic diversity of various groups of plants and its related aspects. With strengthening of scientific manpower and laboratory facilities, it expanded its areas of research which witnessed large outputs in terms of analysis of genetic assessment of plant groups through cyto-taxonomic and molecular techniques.
