Applications are invited for a Junior Research Fellow in peptide synthesis and activity studies in the project entitled “Exploiting the potential of nature inspired antimicrobial peptides for addressing antimicrobial resistance in Acinetobacter baumannii” to work under the supervision of Dr. Nitin Pal Kalia and Dr. Rajesh Sonti in collaboration with ESI hospital for a period of 2 years and an extension for another year to an SRF. The project is funded by DST-SERB-SRG (ANRF/ARG/2025/003704/LS).

Qualifications : The candidate should have a Master’s degree (MS/M.Pharm/M.Tech/M.Sc.) in pharmaceutical chemistry/ analysis/ synthetic chemistry/medicinal chemistry.
Candidate must have qualified at least in one of the GPAT/GATE/CSIR/UGC/ICMR entrance tests with age not more than 28 Years on the last date of the application. Age relaxation will be provided as per SERB-DST, GoI norms. Candidate having experience in peptide synthesis, HPLC and characterisation will be preferred.
