First class M.S. (Pharm.) / M. Pharm. / M. Tech. (Pharm.) or equivalent degree in Biotechnology / Pharmacology and Toxicology / Pharmacology / Biochemistry or equivalent branch.
Ph.D. in Chemical Science or M.Pharm. from a recognized university or equivalent. and 2 years experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services
Ph.D. in the relevant subject / With Masters degree holders: Masters degree in the relevant subject with 4/5 years of Bachelors degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent
Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences / Public Health including the integrated PG degrees, with three years post qualification Experience (Maternal health research and field work in tribal population) or PhD.
Masters degree in Bioinformatics or Biotechnology with Bachelors degree in any life science discipline, preference will be given to candidate with plant genomics background Candidates must have a minimum of 60% marks in postgraduation.
The Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Service was a joint Department Comprising of Agriculture & Animal Husbandry. As the needs of Animal Husbandry and Dairying increased this Department assumed its singular characteristics and function. The Department is headed by the DIRECTOR (Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science). This Department which is primarily vested with the responsibility of providing veterinary health along with increase in livestock production has now the task of attaining self sufficiency in milk production of this state.
