AIIMS Rishikesh is one of the SIX Apex healthcare institutes being established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY). With the aim of correcting regional imbalances in quality tertiary level healthcare in the country and attaining self sufficiency in graduate and postgraduate medical education and training, the PMSSY planned to set up 6 new AIIMS institutions in under served areas of the country.

Walk in Interview has been fixed for filling up the following vacant posts in Antiretroviral Therapy (ART/ART Plus) Centre and in the Opioid Substitution Therapy (OST) Centre at S.K.K Civil Hospital. Golaghat and Gauhati Medical College & Hospital, Guwahati under Assam State AIDS Society. Khanapara, Guwahati - 781022 initially to be appointed for a period up to 31/03/2024 on contractual basis and may be extended based on performance appraisal and co-terminus with the project.

According to the approved action plan of the district for the financial year 2023-24 under the National Health Mission, District Balod and as per the instructions given in the Human Resource Policy 2018, National Health Mission / District Health Committee, District Balod Chhattisgarh.

The President notified the creation of the Department of Health Research under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare through an amendment to the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1961 on the 17th September 2007. The Department of Health Research was formally launched on 5th October 2007 by the Minister for Science & Technology and Earth Sciences in a function presided over by the Minister for Health & Family Welfare, in the presence, inter-alia, of the Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare.
