BRIC-IBSD Life Sciences Fellowship

Applications are invited from deserved and suitable candidates for the following posts under the project entitled “North East Consortium of Medicinal & Aromatic Plants (NECMAP) {Phase-I : Establishment} (Project Code – CBO0011)” funded by Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India at BRIC-IBSD, Imphal.

Post : JRF, Project Assistant

Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (04 nos.)
Upper age limit : 35
Monthly Remuneration : Rs. 37,000/- + 10% HRA per month (for NET/GATE qualified candidate) OR Rs. 12,000/- + 10% HRA (for Non NET/ GATE qualified candidates)
Duration : 01 year or till the completion of the project.
Essential Qualifications : Post Graduate in Botany / Medicinal Plants / Life Sciences.
Desirables : i. Experienced on Working with plants.
ii. NET/GATE qualified

Project Assistant (02 nos.)
Upper age limit : 35
Monthly Remuneration : Rs. 25,000/- per month (Consolidated)
Duration : 01 year or till the completion of the project.
Essential Qualifications : B.Sc.
Desirables : Experienced on working with field work and technical data entry of plants.

1. The above positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Selected candidates shall not claim for regular appointment either in BRIC-IBSD, Imphal and its branches or DBT, New Delhi.
2. No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.
3. The upper age limit is relaxable for reserved categories as per GoI norms.
4. Out of the 04 nos. of JRF, 02 nos. of JRF will be working on Medicinal & Aromatic Plants of Manipur & Mizoram, 01 no. of JRF will be working on Medicinal & Aromatic Plants of Tripura, and 01 no. of JRF will be working on Medicinal & Aromatic Plants of Nagaland.
