In its nascent stage, Medical College was started as guest Institute in 1960 at Medical College, Patiala. Due to high demand for medical education and a deficient patient care services in the southern part of Haryana which was the then part of Punjab, it was shifted to Rohtak in 1963 during the tenure of Sardar Partap Singh Kairon who was then Chief Minister of Punjab.

Moving from the limited original objective of studies in Life Sciences, the University today functions under 13 faculties with 27 post-graduate departments on the campus running 77 academic programmes. There are 66 Boards of Studies for developing and designing courses in different disciplines.

Maharshi Dayanand University, ab initio established as Rohtak University, Rohtak, came into existence by an Act No. 25 of 1975 of the Haryana Legislative Assembly in 1976  with the objective to promote inter-disciplinary higher education and research in the fields of environmental, ecological and life sciences. It was rechristened as Maharshi Dayanand University in 1977 after the name of a great visionary and social reformer, Maharshi Dayanand.  It had a unitary and residential character in its nascent stage, but became an affiliating University in November 1978. The University secured the recognition of University Grants Commission – the higher education regulatory body of India - for central Govt. grants in Feb. 1983.

ABSTRACT
B.Pharmacy course is one of the leading professional courses in India. Two types of examinations are prevalent in B.Pharmacy course. One is the sessional examinations for internal evaluation. Second is the semester end/year end examination. Each examination has its own importance. The student should be well prepared for appearing in the examination. Appearing in the B.Pharm. Examination is not only merely science but it requires amalgamation of science and art.

Due to high demand for medical education and a deficient patient care services in the southern part of Haryana which was the then part of Punjab, it was shifted to Rohtak in 1963 during the tenure of Sardar Partap Singh Kairon who was then Chief Minister of Punjab. From a small guest institute to a mammoth and prestigious Institute in the country, it has been on a constant growth path and has never looked back since then.
