Candidates with B.Pharm/M.Pharm invited to attend WALK-IN-INTERVIEW for Technical Assistant in National Institute of Nutrition
National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) was founded by Sir Robert McCarrison in the year 1918 as ‘Beri-Beri’ Enquiry Unit in a single room laboratory at the Pasteur Institute, Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. Within a short span of seven years, this unit blossomed into a "Deficiency Disease Enquiry" and later in 1928, emerged as full-fledged "Nutrition Research Laboratories" (NRL) with Dr. McCarrison as its first Director. It was shifted to Hyderabad in 1958.
Eligible candidates are invited to attend a WALK-IN-INTERVIEW on the following date sharp at 09:30 a.m. for the following position on the ad hoc research project entitled “Assessment of Safety of Second Hand Glass Bottle by the pharma, food and liquor Industries in Country – a Pilot Study” funded by ICMR at this Institute. The essential qualification, experience, consolidated Pay and the tenure of the post is as under: The late comers will not be allowed in any circumstance for attending the written test/Interview.

It actually started its academic and administrative activities under the leadership of Prof. Dr. N. K. Thakare, the first Vice Chancellor of the university, from academic year 1991-92. Prof. Dr. S. F. Patil took over as the second Vice Chancellor of this University on 14th Aug. 1996. During his tenure two new academic departments viz.
OSDD–CDAC, with the recognition of the need of high performance computing in the OSDD drug discovery process and GARUDA grid of CDAC was proposed as the possible solution for the computing problems faced by the members of OSDD community.
