The Nalanda Educational Society (NES) was established in the year 1991. The society was started with the objectives of imparting quality education to all aspiring students irrespective of caste, creed and religion, and to promote education in the backward area of Nalgonda district. The society was impelled to start Pharmacy College as there was no college in Nalgonda district, and due to ever increasing demand for the course in the district. Consequently, Nalanda College of Pharmacy (NCOP) was started in the year 1995 with B.Pharm course.
