TRUBA Group of Institutes has been set up by Truba ad-vance sciences kombine. The first institute established in 2001 was TRUBA INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING & INFORMATION TECHNOL-OGY, Bhopal. TRUBA INSTITUTE OF PHARMACY, Bhopal estab-lished in 2004, a premier and leading name in technical education of central India, offering programmes B.Pharm, M.Pharm (Pharmacology and Pharmaceutics). Truba Group has earned name and fame in a very short period of time and stands amongst the top ranking institutes of the country. It is now established as unique center of excellence at all levels of Pharmaceutical Education. The Institute runs under patronage of Technical University RGPV and is been affiliated & recognized by AICTE & PCI, New Del-hi, Directorate of Technical Education and Govt. of MP. The institute works on the mission & vision of imparting quality education in pharmacy and spreading the noble cause of profession by pursuing research activities in collaboration with AICTE, DST, DBT, MPCST & associated pharmaceutical industries.

Merck Limited (formerly E. Merck Limited) was set up in India as the first Merck subsidiary in Asia in 1967.  The Company operates both its Pharmaceuticals and Chemicals businesses in the country. Merck was also the first Merck Group Company to go public in the year 1981.  The Merck Group now holds 51% of the share capital in Merck Limited, while the remaining 49% is traded on the Bombay Stock Exchange Ltd. and National Stock Exchange of India Ltd.  Merck Specialities Pvt. Ltd., the wholly owned Indian subsidiary of Merck KGaA, was incorporated in 2005.

Institute of Nano Science and Technology (INST), Mohali (Punjab), an autonomous institution of Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, has been established under the umbrella of NANO MISSION, initiated by DST to boost research and development in the field of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology in India. INST started its activities on 3rd January 2013, the date on which its first Director was appointed.

The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur was established in the year 1960. The Parliament of India passed the ‘Institutes of Technology Act 1961’ declaring all the IITs as “Institutions of National Importance”. The Parliamentary Act has given absolute autonomy to the IITs. When the foundation stone of the IIT system was laid, it was perceived that taking help from the industrially advanced western countries might be lot more effective in achieving the status of a world class technical institute.
