Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT), Hyderabad, a constituent of CSIR is a leading research Institute in the area of chemical sciences. The core strength of IICT lies in Organic Chemistry, and it continues to excel in this field for over six decades. The research efforts during these years have resulted in the development of several innovative processes for a variety of products necessary for human welfare such as drugs, agrochemicals, food, organic intermediates, adhesives etc. More than 150 technologies developed by IICT are now in commercial production.

The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (NIPER) - Ahmedabad is an Institute of National Importance established by an Act of Parliament under the aegis of Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India.

The Institute has excellent facilities for advanced education and research in pharmaceutical sciences and is looking for Teaching & Non- teaching staff of high degree of knowledge and willing to contribute in building this institute as one of the best centres of excellence.

Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences & Technology (SCTIMST), Thiruvananthapuram is an Institute of National Importance  established by an Act  of the Indian Parliament  and  under the 2 administrative control of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. The Institute signifies the convergence of Medical Sciences and Technology and its mission is to enable the indigenous growth of biomedical technology, besides demonstrating high standards of patient care in medical specialties and evolving postgraduate training programs. It has a hospital for tertiary care of cardiovascular and neurological diseases, and research programmes in the areas of basic and applied medical sciences,  a Biomedical Technology Wing with facilities  and research programmes  for developing medical  devices from a conceptual stage to commercialization, and  The Achutha Menon Centre for Health Science Studies for training and research in public health.

The NIPER-Guwahati started functioning from the month of September, 2008. The Institute is presently housed at the NIPS, Mirza, Kamrup, Assam. The Institute has excellent facilities for advanced Education and Research in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Presently the Institute is offering M.S (Pharm.) and Ph. D Programmes in three branches and planning to expand further.
