The Union Public Service Commission is India's central recruiting agency. It is responsible for appointments to and examinations for All India services and group A & group B of Central services.  While Department of Personnel and Training is the central personnel agency in India.The agency's charter is granted by Part XIV of the Constitution of India, titled as Services Under the Union and the States. The commission is mandated by the Constitution for appointments to the services of the Union and All India Services. It is also required to be consulted by the Government in matters relating to the appointment, transfer, promotion and disciplinary matters.

NIPER - Guwahati is the fifth Institute of National Importance on Pharmaceutical Education under the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt. of India. The NIPER-Guwahati started functioning from the month of September, 2008. The Institute is presently housed at the NIPS, Mirza, Kamrup, Assam with an excellent facility for advanced Education and Research in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Presently the Institute is offering M.S (Pharm.) and Ph. D. Programmes in five different branches namely Pharmacology & Toxicology, Biotechnology, Pharmacy Practices, Pharmaceutical Analysis and Pharmaceutics.

The history of Jamia Hamdard begins with the establishment of a small Unani clinic in the year 1906 by Hakeem Hafiz Abdul Majeed, one of the well-known practitioners of Unani System of Medicine of his time. Hakeem Hafiz Abdul Majeed had a vision of making the practice of Unani Medicine into a scientific discipline so that Unani medicines could be dispensed in a more efficacious manner to patients. Hamdard University is setting up Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (HIMSR) in its campus of Jamia Hamdard at Hamdard Nagar, New Delhi-110062.

Two of the focus areas of research within the UMC Utrecht are Regenerative Medicine and Circulatory Health. Within these focus areas, the Laboratory of Experimental Cardiology plays a crucial role in the development of novel therapies for cardiovascular disease. The UMCU is located in the scientific campus of the Utrecht University with access to a large number of facilities. Utrecht is a beautiful city located in the center of the Netherlands, close to Amsterdam and its international airport.

Rajiv Gandhi University (formerly Arunachal University) is the premier institution for higher education in the state of Arunachal Pradesh and has completed twenty five years of its existance. Late Smt. Indira Gandhi, the then Prime Minister of India, laid the foundation stone of the university on 4th February 1984 at Rono Hills, where the present campus is located. Ever since its inception, the university has been trying to achieve excellence and fulfill the objectives as envisaged in the University Act. The University got academic recognition under section 2(f) from the University Grants Commission on 28th March, 1985 and started functioning from 1st April, 1985. It got financial recognition under section 12-B of the UGC on 25th March, 1994.

Established under the aegis of the Guru Nanak Institutions in 2006, the College has been a nurturing ground for pharmaceutical professionals. School Of Pharmacy GNITC is approved   by the AICTE and Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi and is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad with permanent affiliation. It is also approved by the UGC as an autonomous Institution .The Institute is further recognized u/s 2f & 12 B of UGC Act. The Institute offers a four year B. Pharm programme, six years Pharm D, and three year Pharm.D (PB) apart from two year M.Pharm programme.

Dattakala college of pharmacy has been established in 2014. The Dattakala Shikshan Sansthas has about 30 acres campus and is situated at Gat. No. 541 & 527 , Swami-Chincholi, Tal- Daund,Dist-Pune. This campus is near Bhigwan town and is connected by road (Pune-Solapur highway 100 km) and Rail (Bhigwan station 4 km). Our college  is approved by All India Council of Technical Education(AICTE), New Delhi, Pharmacy Council of India(PCI) , New Delhi, Government of Maharashtra / Director of Technical Education,  Mumbai and is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University(SPPU), Pune.

The journey of a million smiles began in 1892 with Jamsetji Tata, the pioneer, visionary and founder of the Tata Group, setting up the JN Tata Endowment for higher education of Indians. Regarded as the 'Father of Indian Industry' and one of the most important builders of the modern Indian economy, Jamsetji introduced the apprentice system at work, crèches and primary classes for children of women mill workers, and free medical help to all employees. Other benefits for the well-being of his staff that were weaved into the policies of several of his propitious ventures included gratuitous pension fund, provident fund, maternity benefit allowance and a compensation fund for accidents for all employees – all of which were ahead of their times.

Manipal, today, is a knowledge powerhouse and a brand name in higher education. Over five and half decades ago, one man, Dr Tonse Madhava Anantha Pai, had a vision which ensured that everything he did then, was consigned to posterity, making sure that generation after generation of students enjoy the fruits of his labour till eternity on this lateritic plateau. And the students will, forever, have one name on their lips, that of Manipal.
