The Ministry of Human Resource Development , which is now known as Ministry of Education, Government of India has established the National Testing Agency as an independent, autonomous, and self-sustained premier testing organization under the Societies Registration Act for conducting efficient, transparent and international standards tests in order to assess the competency of candidates for admissions to premier higher education institutions.

The Indian Institute of Toxicology Research, established in 1965, a constituent laboratory of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) engaged in the Research & Development in the areas of Environmental Toxicology, Predictive Toxicology, Health Risk Assessment, Preventive Toxicology, Inhalation Toxicology, Analytical Toxicology, and also National S&T Missions. The School of Pharmacy came into existence in the year 2015, with academic programs D. Pharm., B. Pharm. and Ph.D. From the academic session 2019-20, the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has approved the increase in the intake of B. Pharm to 100 seats. Both D. Pharm and B. Pharm programs are duly approved by the PCI under section 12 of Pharmacy Act 1948. All the courses are approved by HPPERC and Government of Himachal. Every year, the faculties are participating in FDPs, Conferences, Workshops.
