To trace the history of Jadavpur University is to trace a part of India’s freedom movement, at least from the Swadeshi Movement onwards. It was 1905 -1906. Bengal stood divided. The times were feverish. The hegemony of the British establishment had to be challenged. Education had to play a new role in this changed scenario. It had to become a new form of resistance through which the emergent nationalist spirit could be propagated. With this in mind the National Council of Education (NCE) came into being.

Gurukripa Institute of Pharmacy Majalgaon Diploma information started in 2015 and Bachelor of Pharmacy started in 2017 it is meant to give pharmacy education in rural area of Marathwada helping the society in educating among underprivileged and educational deprived class.

Jagadguru Sri Dr. Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamjigalavaru, the 23rd pontiff of Sri Suttur Veerasimhasana Math was the architect and founder president of JSS Mahavidyapeetha, which came into being in 1954. With the divine inspiration of Sri Swamiji, the JSS College of Pharmacy was started in the year 1973.

Kasegaon Education Society is one of the leading educational organizations in the Western Maharashtra. It was established in 1945 by Late Shri. Rajarambapu Patil, the leading statesman. The Tata Medical Center is a multispecialty institution for tertiary cancer care based in New Town, Kolkata. At TMC, clinical and research activities are integrated to provide state-of-the-art care for patients with cancer. This integration is enabled by the Tata Translational Cancer Research Centre (TTCRC), the research arm of TMC. TTCRC is within a dedicated academic space and spread over 3 floors.

SRM College of Pharmacy, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University), Kattankulattur is one of the premier institutions for pharmaceutical education and research in the country. The college was started in the year 1992 affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR Medical University and was later brought under the ambit of SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University) in 2005. The college now offers B.Pharm, M.Pharm.

National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) is a national level institute in pharmaceutical sciences with a proclaimed objective of becoming a centre of excellence for advanced studies and research in pharmaceutical sciences.
