Institute of Nano Science and Technology, Mohali, Punjab, an autonomous institution of Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, has been established under the umbrella of NANO MISSION, initiated by DST to boost research and development in the field of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology in India. INST started its activities on 3rd January 2013, the date on which its first Director was appointed.

Dr. Reddy's Laboratories is an Indian multinational pharmaceutical company located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The company was founded by Kallam Anji Reddy, who previously worked in the mentor institute Indian Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Limited.

Reliance Life Sciences is a medical biotechnology-led company engaged in research and development, manufacturing and marketing of differentiated medical products and services, used to treat patients primarily in intensive and critical care units in hospitals. CSMCRI with much scientific excitement has now achieved technological excellence with several granted patents in the core mandate of the institute and is one among the top performing national R&D laboratories in the country. ICMR is dealing with biomedical/ health research in various areas, in collaboration with national/ international agencies, through its Headquarters at New Delhi and 27 Institutes / Centres and a large number of field stations, situated across the country.
