Assam University came into existence through Assam (Central) University Act, 1989. It was established in 1994, since then  the University is steadily becoming  an excellent centre of learning. The campus, situated in Dargakona, about 20 kms from  Silchar, is set amid sprawling hillocks, a typical landscape in the North East. The campus  in an area of  600 acres surrounded by lakes and mountains provides  an ideal environment for academic pursuit.

With a coastline of about 3,500 miles, inland sources in Rajasthan and Little Rann of Kutch, and the rock salt mines in Mandi, India have possibilities of attaining a high position in salt production among the salt producing countries of the world. As is known, apart from being an indispensable item of food, salt is an important raw material for the manufacture of several heavy chemicals e.g. soda ash, caustic soda and chlorine.

Govt. of Himachal Pradesh took up initiative in early seventies to set up a CSIR lab to make prudential use of the natural resources of the region.

To provide relief to the common man in the area of healthcare, a countrywide campaign for ensuring availability of generic medicines at affordable prices to all, in the name of “Jan Aushadhi" has been launched by the Government of India, Department of Pharmaceuticals in collaboration with the State Governments, Union Territories and also by associating recognized Trusts/Societies/pharmacists. To become a partner to this campaign and carrying forward this noble objective, BPPI invites applications from energetic and enthusiastic persons to fill up the following posts on contractual basis:

Shivaji University, established in 1962, is named after the Great Maratha Warrior and founder of the Maratha empire Chhatrapati Shivaji. It was inaugurated on 18th November, 1962 by Dr. Radhakrishnan, the then President of India. One of the major objectives behind foundation of this University was to cater to the regional needs of South Maharashtra. The jurisdiction of the University is spread over three districts viz.

Applications are invited front eligible computer literate candidates for filling up of the follow ing post under RSBY/OSTF m different Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS) on contractual basis

Other allowances/incentives as admissible under the norms of the society. But in case of PM & DEO, RSBY the service continuance depends upon the concern RKS based on income from RSBY.

The project sponsored by Department of Science and Technology is entitled “Photoprocesses of donor-acceptor substituted polyenes in ionic liquid media” The JRF will be mostly work on synthesis of small molecules and ionic liquids.
