Transfer of erstwhile Progeny Testing Bull Farm Hisar from the Haryana State Government, to the Indian Council of Agricultural Research in the year 1985, paved the way for the establishment of the Central Institute for Research on Buffaloes (CIRB). Available infrastructure, land, assets and buffalo herd of the Progeny Testing Bull Farm were transferred to the CIRB and the Institute started functioning from 1st February 1985 at Hisar. The Institute has approved cadre strength of 40 scientists of which 34 scientists are in position, including at the sub-campus.

Central Institute for Research on Buffaloes, Hisar (Haryana) will conduct walk-in-interview for the purely temporary position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) on contractual basis as per detail mentioned below.

This setup of University continued till 1998. Since then few more Institutes and Centers were opened to broad base the training programmes of Ayurveda. At present following Institutes and Centers are working in the Campus of Gujarat Ayurveda University, Jamnagar as constituent Institutes:-

Bose Institute, Kolkata, invites application on plain paper from the Indian Citizens, for one temporary post of Junior Research Fellow and one temporary post of Research Associate in the DST sponsored project entitled, “Targeted delivery of nanoconjugated methylglyoxal to cancer cells and understanding the bioenergetic difference between normal and malignant cells at the molecular level”, under the guidance of Prof. Manju Ray (PI) and Dr. Kuladip Jana (Co-PI).
