MSN has announced the successful launch of its Teduglutide Injection across several key European markets, marking a significant milestone in the company’s development of complex peptide medicines.
The launch is based on the dossier developed by MSN following the first generic approval for Teduglutide in Europe. According to the company, the achievement also makes MSN the first company to secure approval for a generic Teduglutide dossier in a G7 nation.
Teduglutide is the generic version of Revestive® and is indicated for the treatment of Short Bowel Syndrome (SBS), a rare condition associated with significant unmet medical needs and limited treatment options.
The milestone highlights MSN’s capabilities in developing complex peptide products and preparing regulatory dossiers for global markets. The company said the achievement reflects the combined efforts of its teams across Research & Development, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing and Quality.
With the launch, MSN is continuing to expand its portfolio of complex medicines while focusing on increasing access to high-quality treatments in international markets.
The company stated that it remains committed to advancing healthcare solutions and expanding access to medicines for patients worldwide.
