Jamia Islamia Isha Atul Uloom’s Ali Allana College of Pharmacy, Akkalkuwa, Dist. Nandurbar has organized national level workshop on “Industrial and Academic Perspectives of Regulatory Affairs in pharmaceutical industry.” This will be one day workshop on 10 February 2015 from time 10 am to 4.30 pm.

Mr. Amrit B Karmarkar, Director, InClinition, Mumbai will be speaker for entire workshop. He is currently heading regulatory and medical affairs department at InClinition, a Mumbai based pharmaceutical and clinical research service organization. This workshop will cover topics such as drug regulatory affairs historical, structure and organization of regulatory bodies of US, EU, Japan, China, UK and India along with their IND-NDA requirements. It will also cover demonstrations of templates of dossier and exercises based on these topics.

Maulana GM Vastanvi Sahab, President of Jamia Islamia Isha Atul Uloom is patron for organization of this workshop. While speaking regarding this workshop, Dr. GJ Khan, Convener and Principal, Ali Allana College of Pharmacy, Akkalkuwa, Dist. Nandurbar told us that “this is first of kind regulatory workshop being organized in the North Maharashtra region.

This national level workshop will help students of M.Pharmacy and B.Pharmacy to understand and impart with skills and knowledge related to field of regulatory affairs.” Prof. Siraj Shaikh, Co-convener of this workshop said, “this workshop will help students to imbibe with knowledge of different regulated and non regulated markets. This will help them to get jobs in pharmaceutical industry.”

While mentioning features of workshop, Mr. Amrit Karmarkar told, “organization of workshops and training programs for students is really great work that is being done by Ali Allana College of Pharmacy. Such kind of training programs from experts in industry will help them to get latest updates in industry.”
