SVKM’s Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Pharmacy is one of the top most Pharmacy Institutes in the State of Maharashtra situated in Mumbai, Vile Parle West. Since 2004 it has achieved brilliance in pharmaceutical culture and research and has become a center of excellence in the field of pharmaceutical sciences.  The college is affiliated to University of Mumbai and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). At present the college conducts Four Year B. Pharm degree program which is accredited by national Board of Accreditation ( NBA) for full term of five years till 2022.

NISER recognizes that modern scientific research is carried out in interstices amongst fuzzy domains and blurred boundaries. This entails encouraging a new scientific culture where members of our community attain to an intellectual agility unconstrained by the limitations of disciplinary conventions from the past. Faculty and Students will be given generous material support in the pursuit to realize this objective. Time and conversational space will be devoted to nascent propositions and hypothesis and the significantly small student-faculty ratio, an eventual full strength of 2000 students and 300 faculty, manifests the Institutes investment and hope in the future.

About ITM School of Pharmacy
ITM School of Pharmacy was established with the aim to provide quality education at degree and postgraduate level in pharmacy and to prepare youth to meet the challenges in the area of pharmaceutical research & development. The institute will nurture of students by co- curricular and extra-curricular activities like industrial visits & training, seminars, workshops, conferences, expert lectures, communication skills, placements and many more. ITM School of Pharmacy is poised to face global challenges of pharmaceutical industries and education with the changed perspectives. It has modern, well designed and very well equipped laboratories in addition to the spacious and ICT enabled classrooms and seminar hall. ITM School of Pharmacy is approved by AICTE, PCI, New Delhi and Affiliated to GTU, Ahmedabad.

The PGIMER owes its inception to the vision of late Sardar Partap Singh Kairon, the then Chief Minister of Punjab and the distinguished medical educationists of the then combined state of Punjab, supported by the first Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru who considered the institutions of scientific knowledge as temples of learning and the places of pilgrimage. The institute started in 1962 and Pt Jawahar Lal Nehru inaugurated the hospital now named “Nehru Hospital” on 7th July 1963. The Institute was originally under the Government of undivided Punjab.

IICB Institute was established in 1935 as the first non official centre in India for biomedical research and was included within the aegis of CSIR in 1956. IICB today is engaged in research on diseases of national importance and biological problems of global interest, employing sophisticated state-of-the-art technology in keeping with the rapid and unprecedented momentum that life science research has gained globally over the last 50 years. IICB is one of the major institutes in India which initiated, right from its inception, multidisciplinary concerted efforts for conducting basic research on infectious diseases, specifically leishmaniasis and cholera, along with the development of technologies for the diagnosis, immunoprophylaxis, and chemotherapy of the diseases.

All-India Institute of Medical Sciences was established as an institution of national importance by an Act of Parliament with the objects to develop patterns of teaching in Undergraduate and Post-graduate Medical Education in all its branches so as to demonstrate a high standard of Medical Education in India; to bring together in one place educational facilities of the highest order for the training of personnel in all important branches of health activity; and to attain self-sufficiency in Post-graduate Medical Education.

The university grew out of the work of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, the great Muslim reformer and statesman, who in the aftermath of the Indian War of Independence of 1857 felt that it was important for Muslims to gain education and become involved in the public life and government services in India. Raja Jai Kishan helped Sir Syed in establishing the university.
