MORADABAD EDUCATIONAL TRUST (MET) was established in the year 1996 and started 4 years degree course in Pharmacy in the year 2009 (B. Pharm) under the banner of Faculty of Pharmacy. Subsequently Diploma in Pharmacy will start from the Academic Session 2018-19. The Institute is situated on the bank of holy river Ram Ganga in the Brass city of India (Moradabad). The College is approved by AICTE, PCI, New Delhi and affiliated to Dr. A. P. J.

K.R. Mangalam University, Haryana is a State Private University established under Haryana Private Universities Act and is empowered to award degrees under section 2f of the UGC Act, 1956.

The PGIMER owes its inception to the vision of late Sardar Partap Singh Kairon, the then Chief Minister of Punjab and the distinguished medical educationists of the then combined state of Punjab, supported by the first Prime Minister of India Pt. National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) was founded by Sir Robert McCarrison in the year 1918 as ‘Beri-Beri’ Enquiry Unit in a single room laboratory at the Pasteur Institute, Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. Within a short span of seven years, this unit blossomed into a "Deficiency Disease Enquiry" and later in 1928, emerged as full-fledged "Nutrition Research Laboratories" (NRL) with Dr. McCarrison as its first Director. It was shifted to Hyderabad in 1958.At the time of its golden jubilee in 1969, it was renamed as National Institute of Nutrition (NIN).
