The Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD), Hyderabad is a premier autonomous R&D Institute under Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, that has been established to provide services in DNA fingerprinting and diagnosis of genetic disorders, and to undertake high quality basic research in frontier areas of modern biology.

The National Innovation Foundation – India, is India's national initiative to strengthen the grassroots technological innovations and outstanding traditional knowledge. ICMR-National Institute of Malaria Research was established in 1977 as ‘Malaria Research Centre’, which was renamed as ‘National Institute of Malaria Research’ in November 2005. ICMR-NIMR is one of the institutes of the Indian Council of Medical Research (an autonomous body under Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India).  The primary task of the Institute is to find short term as well as long term solutions to the problems of malaria through basic, applied and operational field research.

National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute (NABI) is an autonomous Institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. NABI aims at catalyzing the transformation of the Agri-food sector in India by being a nodal organization for knowledge generation and translational science leading to value-added products based on Agri-Food biotech innovations for improved household nutritional security.

The college has been approved by The All India Council for Technical Education (A.I.C.T.E), and Pharmacy Council of India (P.C.I.), New Delhi and affiliated by the W.B.S.C.T.V.E.S.D., Kolkata.  The college has a good infrastructure in the heart of the town at pandaveswar and well connected by Rail, Road and Air. The college has sufficient class rooms, well equipped laboratories, library with sufficient volumes of books and fully equipped computer lab.

The National Centre for Cell Science (NCCS) is an autonomous institution of Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, for a mandate of basic research, teaching & training, and as a national repository for cell lines / hybridomas etc. The Centre is located in the midst of academically enriched environment of Savitribai Phule Pune University Campus, Pune.
