Job Description:
1. Service optical outlets and ophthalmologists under the sales staff territory, as to achieve the company target as a whole which is set at the beginning of each year. Ensure coverage as per route plan and achieve set daily call averages
2. Promote and sell the whole range of CIBAVision lenses and LCP including putting up POSM and implementing in shop branding/activity.
3. Review with customers monthly sales (vs. yearly target, vs. last year, by product) and take appropriate action to reverse any sales decline.
4. Propose and work with the Regional Manager for promotional programs for individual outlets outside other national marketing programs in order to achieve the required sales. Target key/A/B class accounts with specific product promotion plan and track productwise sales.
5. Provide ad hoc services to trade customers as a form of goodwill services (e.g urgent delivery, complaints lenses, no stock situation etc)
6. Conduct individual outlets training and sell-in of any new products/ or promotional launches.
7. Gather competitors’ info (promotions, launches, organization changes, etc) and to update the sales force and manager. Complete ad hoc questionnaires concerning market perception of CIBAVision, products and service.
8. Plan the sales visit in advance and to discuss with the Regional Manager & Sales Head the route, purpose, and to follow up previous week outstanding and have a weekly review before setting out for sales visits
9. Coordinate with distributor sales reps/delivery personnel to ensure smooth functioning of both and report to distributor any deviations from agreed norms.
10. To do a complaints check on all returned damaged lenses and LCP and also on goods returned due to incorrect delivery.
11. Credit limit review with the Regional Manager for customers every quarter and also all new customers.
12. Participate in a major stock take in CIBAVision distributor and routine product stock take at customer outlets.
13. Provide market/sales feedback and complete all necessary reports within the stipulated time frame
14. Participate in CIBAVision training.

Candidate Profile:
Education (minimum/desirable): Minimum Science Graduate preferably with a Marketing Diploma
Languages: English, Hindi, other local dialects
Experience/Professional Requirement: Minimum 3 year frontline sales experience in an organized FMCG/Pharma company.
