Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) is an autonomous Institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt, of India. The institute is an integral part of the interdisciplinary NCR Biotech Science Cluster located at Faridabad, and is designed as a dynamic, interactive organization with the mission to conduct innovative translational research and to develop research collaborations across disciplines and professions to translate concepts into tangible products to improve human health.

THSTI has set up niche centres for research in areas relevant to planned translational work. They are: Vaccine and Infectious Disease Research Centre (VIDRC), Paediatric Biology Centre (PBC), Centre for Bio-design & Diagnostics (CBD), Drug Discovery Research Centre (DDRC), Centre for Human Microbial Ecology (CHME) and Policy Centre for Biomedical Research (PCBR). Clinical Development Services Agency (CDSA) and National Bio-design Alliance (NBA) are THSTI’s extramural centres.

The Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) is an Autonomous Body, set up under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare primarily with the objective of periodically updating of the Indian Pharmacopoeia, the book of standards for the drugs; the National Formulary of India, the book of reference on the Drugs; and other related tasks such as preparing, certification and distribution of reference substance; assist the National Pharmacovigilance Programme, testing of new drugs and review of technical dossier of drugs for purpose of monograph development for Indian Pharmacopoeia.

Central Drugs Testing Laboratory, Hyderabad is statutory laboratory working under administrative control of Drugs Controller General (India), CDSCO, DGHS, Min. of Health & Family Welfare, New Delhi, Application form eligible candidates are invited in the prescribed format for the Recruitment of following posts at Central Drugs Testing Laboratory, Hyderabad. The appointments of the following posts are purely on contractual basis for one year w.e.f 01-01-2017 to 31-12-2017. Applications are invited from eligible candidate for filling up the following temporary position for the sponsored project from the DST - Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) to be undertaken in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology of this Institute. The position is temporary and the offer will be initially for a period of ONE Year that can be extended further based on the performance and will be co terminus with the project. If the candidate also fulfils the institute criteria, admission in Ph.D through NIPER entrance may be considered. The requisite qualification & experience etc. are given below.
