A Walk-in-Interview will be held on 08th July, 2013 at 11.00 A.M. in the Microbiology Seminar Room, Centenary Laboratory Building of Bose Institute, P-1/12, C.I.T. Scheme VII-M, Kankurgachi, Kolkata – 700 054 for one position of Senior Research Fellow and one position of Technical Assistant in a DBT sponsored project entitled, "Host phosphatases and kinases participating in CD40-induced anti-leishmanial vs. pro-leishmanial pathways", under the guidance of Prof. Subrata Majumdar, Division of Molecular Medicine. The project is tenable upto 25.03.2016. Details of qualification, fellowship, age etc. are as follows.
Essential Qualification:
(a) For S.R.F. - M.Sc. Degree in Life Science / Zoology / Microbiology / Biochemistry / Physiology / Pharmacology, plus NET / GATE qualification with two years of research experience as Junior Research Fellow.
(b) For Technical Assistant – B.Sc. Degree in Life Science / Zoology / Microbiology / Biochemistry / Physiology.
Desirable Qualification:
(a) For S.R.F. – Publication in parasite biology, molecular mechanism / signaling mechanism during leishmanial infection is essential. Candidate should have experience in animal handling and animal cell culture and specialized in media preparation.
(b) For Technical Assistant - Experience in some laboratory techniques related to Biological Sciences. The Selected candidates will be called for interview immediately after the written test at 10.00 A.M. on 08.07.2013 in the same venue.
