Post: Manager - Operations & QA

Job Description:
•Select, assess site feasibility, train & manage Clinical RESEARCH Organisations for execution of clinical studies for HPC & Foods
•Ensure adoption of Good Clinical Practices, Quality & Ethics in the conduct of clinical studies, both internal and external
•Ensure alignment of conduct of clinical studies with global clinical and local regulatory processes
•Develop guidelines for instituting excellence in execution of clinical studies
•Provide training to the Clinical team and external partners on Unilever global practices & quality systems
•Interact with external & Unilever Ethics Committees, for the conduct of the clinical studies
•Work closely with Clinical Project Leaders/Global Clinical Leaders to execute clinical studies in HPC & Foods
•Build and line manage the clinical talent in the team
•Strong, proven scientific background in R&D
•Experience in R&D Project Management
•Experience in conduct and management of clinical trials
•Good execution and organizing capability

•Experience in working with & managing Clinical CROs & external partners
•Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes for clinical studies
•Demonstrable ability to lead and manage teams
•Competency and experience in writing technical documentation and reports
•Detail oriented and with a desire for excellence in execution
•Good written and oral communication in English
•Strong people skills to build relationships with external partners
•The candidate should have strong knowledge of clinical study conduct, quality control and quality assurance, good clinical practice and awareness of local regulations.
•He/she should have strong written and oral communication skills


Candidate Profile:
•Qualification – MSc in Biological Sciences or M. Pharm
•Experience - 8 – 10 years, with at least 4 years in conducting/managing clinical studies & clinical operations.
