National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) is the first national level institute in pharmaceutical sciences with a proclaimed objective of becoming a centre of excellence for advanced studies and research in pharmaceutical sciences. The Government of India has declared NIPER as an ‘Institute of National Importance’. It is an autonomous body set up under the aegis of Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India. The Institute is conceived to provide leadership in pharmaceutical sciences and related areas not only within the country, but also to the countries in South East Asia, South Asia and Africa. NIPER is a member of Association of Indian Universities and Association of Commonwealth Universities.

Age Limit: 28 years (may be relaxed depending upon the suitability of qualification & experience & Relaxation for SC/ST/PH/OBC as per GOI rules).
The positions under the projects are purely temporary and are fixed for the mentioned period of time. Walk in Interview will be held on August 24, 2011 at 11.00 A.M. in the Conference Room, Convention Centre of this Institute. Candidates should bring three copies of the application giving (a) details of educational qualification, experience with name of the Institute, post held, scale of pay and past salary (b) Reprints of selected research publications, if any. Application should be accompanied by demand draft for Rs. 50/- (Rs. 25/- for SC/ST/PH) in favour of "Director NIPER", drawn on any scheduled bank payable at Mohali/ Chandigarh. Reservation of SC/ST and PH is as per GOI rules. No TA/ DA will be paid for attending the Walk-in-Interview. An advance copy of CV may be mailed to mesophia@niper.ac.in.
