Job Description:
• Exploring ideas and screen
• Conduct concept tests for the new ideas
• Product tests
• Liaise with the R&D team on various product options and help them build a better product
• Liaise with the R&D team for Consumer preference mapping and aid in the RESEARCH amongst consumers
• Conduct RESEARCH on communications i.e. Previews/ ad clinics.

BB responsibilities:
• Conduct quarterly IBHT’s issue based report using continuous tracking
• Conduct annually brand audit
• Monthly share update and consumer behaviour update for these brands
• Shopper study in order to understand GT and MT dynamics to intervene at consumer interface stage
• Understand the status in all geographies of each of the brands
o Identify the issues on shares and consumer behaviour and intimate the teams on the same
o Identify on geographies which are performing well or are under stress
• Be CMI representative in meetings & take calls on what is to be done. This would involve starting the project right from taking the brief from business, challenging, helping the marketing team to set action standards, overseeing the logistics, fieldwork and delivering the findings with clear CMI recommendations.
o Regular interactions with the agency for DT
o Data pulling for category
o Conducting the ad hoc dipsticks if any
o Managing logistics for ad hoc projects


RESOURCE TO BE MANAGED UNDER POSITIONS AUTHORITY
People - The role will have no direct report
Budget – The role will have a market RESEARCH bought in cost budget.
PROBLEM SOLVING
Needs to work on both BB and BD CMI role. Thus will involve to know all methodologies in BB and BD.

Essential Skills
• Mastery of Ad Hoc RESEARCH and a capability to identifying business opportunities arising from the RESEARCH
• Drive consumer insight into the heart of the business by operating at a strategic level.
• Able to work effectively with colleagues across categories

• Raging curiosity about consumers and markets, a thirst for continual learning about the lives of consumers and their interaction with our brands. An obsessive desire to dig deeper to unearth new insights.

• Passion for growth at the expense at competition and passion for the role of CMI in driving that growth
• Talent for motivating colleagues in the cross functional team to be passionate about consumers
• Ability to work in and contribute to virtual teams – CMI and business teams


Minimum qualifications: MBA in Marketing
Desirable: 3 – 4 years of experience in market RESEARCH – customized Quantitative RESEARCH
